Chuck Prater is an American Freelance actor and Producer.

Raised in the south side of Chicago, Illinois, Chuck is the eldest of 2 children of a math professor mother. After graduating from high school, Chuck pursued music as “Chuck Chu” with the band's Sleepstealers out of Atlanta and B.I.C.H. (acronymized from Black Intellectuals Changing History) from Chicago.

Soon thereafter Chuck enrolled at the University of Illinois, Springfield, intent on a career in communications & journalism. However, he caught the acting bug while appearing in student drama workshops under Eric Thibodeau-Thompson. Upon graduation, he moved to Atlanta to pursue modeling and acting projects. Chuck is also an Activist who believes in humanity's ability to create and leave a historic footprint in changing lives through creativity.
